i've sort of dismissed the iphone rumors in past, but the ichat connection makes it sound like something that could well be and soon. but the wifi phone sounds like an effort to build up ichat. why not?

Can anybody tell me for sure if I will lose all my rollover minutes if I make the change online? I have 5 lines on a family plan and I know that I have to make the change on all 5 lines manually which I am ok with. Can somebody verify for me that nothing will change on my account such as losing rollover mins, losing corporate FAN discount, losing anything else? I simply want to change Unlimited family text to unlimited family text plus unlimited any M2M. Whenever I do an online chat with a rep or call, they always tell me I need to 'update' my plan or something (I am on a family talk 1400 plan). I don't see a reason for this but they always tell me when I 'update', i'll lose all my rollover mins so I have not 'updated'....obviously and no ill effects as of yet.

She said that I will only have 700 rollover minutes after dropping my plan down. I asked again, and this time I practically begged her for help. She said that reps are authorized to give up to 5,000 rollover minutes for a customer in good standing.
She then gave me 5,000 minutes and I was happy with that.

Is this well-veiled sarcasm? If not, you guys are ridiculous.
1) Google does not own the mapping database they use
2) Even if they did, there are multiple geographic/mapping data providers
3) None of them obtained their data by having employees drive around in vehicles... That's an absurd suggestion

I have herd that apple will soon be making more updates on MBP changing the Looks of the existing macbook pro they jus released on 26th feb 2008. Is dat true? cuz i wna buy a MBP now but i dont knw if i shud cuz what if they change the looks in june? If anyone has any information please let me know..Thanks

Dude... I'm assuming you're a Christian to be so up-in-arms about the holiday (but I don't think that's the right example, honestly) -- you need to also be more tolerant of other religious holidays at the same time such as Hananachaka (butchered that) and Kwanza as well as some others, I'd imagine.
Kwanzaa has two a's in it. Before you go slapping on others for posts about meaningless things (the guy can't wait for christmas, so what), you might want to open a dictionary yourself and get a clue.

I use Google Talk on my BlackBerry quite often. It's a great program. I would assume that iChat support needs to be standard on an iPhone. If they added VOIP later on, that would be AMAZING! They haven't added it to Google Talk yet, because that would use the data network and not run up your minutes, which service providers don't want to do.

AOL just announced something that allows you to back up 5GB of data. .Mac gives you 1 GB. AOL is free, .Mac costs $99. I understand there are other features, but AOL has most of them too. It's not worth the $$ until some major improvements happen.

I bought a song from the iTMS a couple days ago (Delirium featuring Sarah McLachlin - Silence) and I can't get ot downloaded.
I'm on dial-up but I don't think that's the problem since I've already bought two entire albums from there (one a day after I bought this) and both downloaded flawlessly, just not this particular song, anybody know how to fix this or anything?

Why would you want to use ddr2 anyways? its slower, and more power consuming. If you have a lot, consider selling them. Or maybe build a Hackintosh with a second hand cpu with lots of ram

Meaning, for the same payouts to continue, we'll have to come up with that amount of money to cover the difference. This difference is caused by a lessening number of payers and an increasing number of receivers... as I mentioned earlier when pointing out accurately how SS is a ponzi scheme.

When I got my iPad 2, I had been having this issue. But once I updated to 4.3.1 I haven't had this problem. Did 4.3.1 fix this issue for anyone else or do some of you still have this problem?
Did not fix for our iPad, at all.
4.3 and 4.3.1 has been a disaster. The animations are so choppy it makes it almost androidesque. I hope they actually fix it this time rather than just patching a jailbreak. I wish I could go back to 4.2.1 where the phone was actually stable and smooth.
I am going to have to agree with this. Stutters, screen shaking while refreshing a large image, airplay to apple tv is buggy as all get out.
